The County Prosecuting Attorney represents the state in all investigations
for felony cases in justice court and county court and in all criminal cases
appealed to the circuit court from county court. The county prosecutor
also assists the District Attorney, presents matters to the county grand
jury and is involved in some youth court proceedings.
